Summer Hair Color at Louis Phillip Kee

triciawillgoplaces:

Ugly roots forced me to go to the salon last week despite my hectic schedule. Last time I had my hair dyed was first week of January? I can’t believe I let 2 months pass without doing anything to my hair. Not even a treatment. My old self would have been very disappointed in my present self, lol.

I used to panic at the sight of regrowth, but now that I’m older, the health of my hair and scalp is fast becoming my top priority. I can’t just keep dyeing my hair every month like I used to! Such a bad practice. True enough, 2 months without any chemicals did my hair some good.

I figured I should lighten my hair a bit now that summer is fast approaching. Lighter hair makes me look tanner, and it’s an effective way to cheat that fresh-from-the-beach look without having to go to the beach. Pale is the last look I want to sport in the next few months.

Look at that monstrosity!

Time to lighten my roots before applying dye. This is not bleach, btw! My hair can’t take bleach anymore so my hairstylist Ariel used a lightening alternative.

I was blonde for a few minutes! Very 2011!

Had my nails done too because I knew the process of achieving the color that I wanted would take some time.

They put light ash brown on my roots first before dyeing the rest of my hair.

My mom also dropped by to have her roots retouched and nails done! I chose Country Club Khaki for her nails.

Blowdrying time! My hair ended up much, much lighter than my previous color and it looks blonde under the sun! Much love! I missed having hair this light, especially since I’ve been sporting dark hair since October 2013.

First time to have hair this light too and not have bangs at the same time! Fortunately my bangs have grown long enough to tuck behind my ears. Mission accomplished!

Fresh out of the salon hair! Light ash brown c/o Ariel Alicarte of Louis Phillip Kee C5/Libis. You can text him at 09068725321 if you’re interested in getting the same hair color! Mondays are his off days but he’s pretty much available the rest of the week.

OT, but thanks HotMessPH for my top!

My Keratin treatment from last January also kept my hair in good condition in those 2 months I let my hair rest.

No more ugly roots!

Hi, I am new to lolita fashion so I was wondering if glitzy wonderland is a safe and legit site to buy non replica and brand name OPs and JSKs?

That shop is a reseller, similar to clobba. I tried looking for reviews but only found one. You can try if you want. It’s surely cheaper to order through an SS though.

Btw, if you buy Montreal rocking horse shoes in person in Hong Kong, they’re 25USD per pair…I went late 2012.

The saleswoman said they supply to ebay shops like ling_lam. I don’t think they have a direct, wholesaler international online shop though.
